A LITTLE CLARITY
Good to know.
The details before your first pair.
The fit
What size are they?
Studio Grip comes in one size, designed to fit most feet. Our Fit and care page shows where the fit is at its best and how it feels either side.
What are they made from?
80% GOTS-certified organic combed cotton, 15% polyamide and 5% elastane. Cushioned underfoot, padded at the heel, a seamless toe, a Y-stitched heel and the LayerLock™ grip system.
Are they made for reformer Pilates?
Yes. Studio Grip is made for reformer and mat Pilates, yoga and barre. The LayerLock™ grip is printed densest at the heel and toes, where the foot meets the carriage, the mat or the floor, and the fit stays put through a class.
Do you need grip socks for Pilates?
Most reformer studios ask for them, for grip on the carriage and for hygiene. On the mat and at the barre they are a choice: a steadier foot, and a warmer one.
Choosing your pairs
Can I mix patterns and colours?
Yes. Mix any of the nine pairs, or repeat a favourite. Your rotation is built from single pairs, as many as you like.
How does the pair price work?
One or two pairs cost £16 each. Three to five cost £14 each. Six or more cost £12.50 each. The whole bag reprices when you change quantities.
Delivery & care
What about UK delivery?
UK delivery is free on orders over £30. Below that, it's £3.99. Orders usually arrive in 3 to 6 working days, and we email you a Royal Mail tracking link.
Can I return a pair?
You can change your mind within 14 days of delivery. Please send pairs back unworn, in their band: email returns@layersactive.com with your order number and we'll email you a returns label. £2.99 comes off your refund to cover it. Pair prices are for the pairs you keep, so if you send some back, the rest are priced for that number of pairs. Faulty pairs are always free to send back.
How do I wash them?
Machine wash at 30°, inside out with similar colours. Air dry. Do not bleach, tumble dry, iron or use fabric softener. Avoid abrasive fabrics.
